An open mind

"An open mind is like a fortress with its gates unbarred and unguarded"

As far as I look back to our roleplay Liderc always had a “territorial” feeling and such a fetish for their home bases, castles, dungeons or whatever. These days we completing a new rebuild of our home in the new Masada location.
In the past 4-5 years Liderc changed several times bases and locations. I counted 9 different bases: the first 4 of them following one another in Reverance, then the 3 rebuilds in Spiritus Sancti, 2 in Masada (not considering here the minor outpost we had in Judgment because it lasted only few weeks and was never really operative).

So we crossed years, buildings, roleplay/combat systems, always searching for fun, building gameplay as we rebuilt our bases, mazes, outposts.
And always rocking stagnant waters, often causing tears doing this (for this we’re glad: gamers’ tears best tears).

These days - once again - we find ourself struggling against prims, textures, rebuild. This base is the 10th in Liderc history, the third after our relocation in Masada.
The reason behind this new build is simply a Masada change: masada growing from a single Sim community to a chain of two sims sharing the same community, settings, rules and management.

When we moved the clan from NOR to join CCS the idea was to build a place, Masada, to set as home for our families and friends. However immediately, Masada started to work as a “bridge”, and a support platform not only for us and our friend but in general for players from NOR. Many of thus stayed in CCS, others just kept it as a further alternative “just in case”. And this was a good job, because having or providing more gameplay opportunities is always good.

Along this patch other people, not related to our past, joined us feeling Masada as their home, willing to help and cooperate and offering to work on it. This is why, today, we moving to turn Masada to a multi-sim (two for now) environment. And this is why we had to move and build a new base.

and we have cookise and impalers, as in the best Liderc tradition.
